The path to my heart

They were talking about Kierkegaard and Snoopy on the radio yesterday morning...

Wow

I went down to fetch my mowing shoes from downstairs and found them covered inside and out with cobwebs. I guess it has been a while since I cut the grass.

The calm before...

This morning is the long inhale before the epic race to the end of the year. We sat and plotted out when and where we need to be for the next 35 days, and I think we'll be ok.
This is my last weekend (and two days in a row) off until Christmas. Nutcracker dress rehearsals start Monday. Luckily, I will rarely have to work nights and honestly, I enjoy the work (although sorting socks for the toy soldiers does have its moments of existential comedy). The library has let me shuffle my schedule around so I may do both.
RTG's season doesn't officially start until Dec. 1, but with the company Christmas party and decorating the boats and finishing some last minute home maintenance (six years with no bathroom fan, but he finally installed it a couple of weeks ago, hooray!), he's staying busy. He is also running a half marathon next weekend which is still amazing to me. I wish I could be there to cheer him on, but I'll be working.
My family is coming up to my house for Christmas this year, the first time I've seen them for the holiday in 10 years. I have delegated the planning to her to keep her busy and also because her baking skills are getting better all the time. This may be the first year in which I don't make cookies.
Throw in a couple of shows, movies, Christmas present projects, hiking maybe, and time to see friends from far afield, and I think we are ready to go.

"This ballet is like an elegant math problem."

and it is.

Where we've been recently
Denny Creek Trail off I-90

Denny Creek water slide (sight of a suture-needing gash in her chin when she was 4)

and further up the trail not quite a mile.

The threshold of ineptitude

I so hate it when a question requiring fine shadings in judgment comes up at 4:15 in the afternoon.
So, project management..HD69.P75 or T56.8? Can anyone explain the difference to me?
